A great value from Castilla! 75% Tempranillo, 25% Syrah, aged nine months in French oak. Intensely fruity on the nose, but the ageing in oak has given the wine a fine structure. Rich in texture, not overly dry, with candied strawberry and black fruits, underlined by sweet vanilla and spice from the toasted oak.

The de la Barredas worked together with Georges Pauli of Château Gruaud-Larose to transform this former bulk wine property into a bodega known for quality wine. 100% Tempranillo (also known as Cencibel), this is a full-flavored wine with an amazing concentration of red fruits and a backbone of tannin and acidity. A perfumed nose of floral notes with strawberries. The finish is smooth and persistent.
