| Albert Bichot Bourgogne "Vieilles Vignes" Chardonnay |
| Region: | France |
| Appellation: | Bourgogne |
| Varietal: | Chardonnay |
| Vintage: | 2007 |
A classy Chardonnay, showing delicate fruit and mineral flavors, with citrus and spices. Creamy, but still fresh and zesty. Ripe and intense, with good texture and body, upheld by good new oak. More savory than sweet, with hints of light oak on the finish. This wine pairs wonderfully with fish, shellfish, & white meats.

“This is pure mineral, chalk and lean austerity initially, but opens up with apples, lime and green plums. It is intense, concentrated and structured.”

Very fresh and young, it has highly mineral fruit, along with subtle sorbet notes. A pale green-gold color, it has notes of green fruit and minerals on the nose. Concentrated, with good body and rich fruity flavors, both lively and fleshy. It makes an excellent aperitif, and pairs well with oysters or pâtés.

A complex, open nose of fresh exotic fruits followed by aromas of toasted bread. Touch of chestnut, almond, cinnamon, and butter. Clean, fresh, fat, full-bodied, rich, and well-structured, with a good balance of acidity and mellowness. Great with any seafood dish, white meats, foie gras and bleu cheese.

| Varietal: | Chardonnay |
| Vintage: | 2005 |
This impressive 100% Chardonnay has been manually harvested and pressed on a pneumatic press at a low pressure, subjected to alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in casks over a period of 3 months to better extract the aromas, followed by maturation for 10 months in French oak barrels. Here are the winemaker’s comments:
“Nice yellow-gold robe with grey tints, brilliant and clear. Open and pleasant aromas of fresh fruit, white flowers and marzipan (!). A touch of chestnuts and butter on the second nose. Nice and elegant toasted bread aromas. Clean attack, fresh, fat, full and rich, well-structured, good balance between acidity and mellowness, harmonious and long lasting on “marron glace” flavor.

| Dufouleur Pere & Fils Cremant de Bourgogne Brut |
| Region: | France |
| Appellation: | Bourgogne |
| Varietal: | Chardonnay |
| Vintage: | 2005 |
We are very pleased to have an affordable “bubbly” from Burgundy! The grapes have been picked by hand as required by law and immediately pressed at a low pressure. The three grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Aligoté, have been vinified separately and then blended. This crémant is vinified according to the “methode traditionelle” (formerly called “Champenoise”).
In the glass you will see a nice light gold robe, brilliant and clean crémant, with abundant foam and very thin and persistent bubbles. Lemon, pear and chestnut notes will fill your nose. On the palate it is fresh and crisp, round with a good balance between mellowness and acidity. Most enjoyable! Offer it as an aperitif with some crème cassis added (“Kir Royal”). Can also be paired with fine white meats or fish in light sauce.
