A wonderful representation of Jean-Luc Thunevin's signature style, the wine is lush, opulent, and fruit forward, with a silky smooth tannic structure. The vines are an average of 30 years old, grown on 4.5 hectares of clay-limestone and gravelly soils. The wine is aged in 100% new oak barrels for 18 to 20 months. A blend of 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, with 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, the 3 de Valandraud is as charming as it is subtle.

This lovely Cremant is made from 54% Chardonnay, 27% Pinot Noir, 14% Aligote, and 5% Gamay. It has fine, even bubbles, a beautiful gold color, and golden highlights. The nose boasts notes of lime, pink grapefruit, and white blossoms. The plate is fresh and vivacious. Clean and precise with beautiful length. An ideal wine for an aperitif and an excellent match with chicken in cream sauce and salmon.

Perfect on its own or with dessert, it's friendly nature also makes it appropriate for pairing with Mediterranean and Asian cuisines.
